Anything Is Possible

 As we face this season 

At an up tempo'd pace,

Trying so hard to 

Focus on Your grace.

We find ourselves weary,

Unable to breathe, 

Focused on everything

But the One we need.

As we cry out in pain, 

You gently lean in

And whisper once again...

It's okay my child, 

I love you and I know. 

I know it's hard to just let go..

And you don't understand

Why I don't reach down 

With my right hand,

And rescue you now, 

Like you know I can.

But I love you, my child, 

And I know what you need.

Ease and comfort are not the way

To grow closer to Me.

Each and every day,

You have to walk through the hard 

And face the impossible..

Before you can understand 

That only with Me...

Anything is possible.

When He Is There

And where there's Joy, oh there's Peace..

And where there's Peace, ohhh...

When we seek Him and we find Him

And we cross that golden line.

And run straight into His arms

Your Healing Is His

I'm caught in my thoughts

Trapped by the shame, 

The fear, and the doubt.

Out of control.

Trying my best 

To just     hold    on.

Jesus, You

My Child... 

Why are you crying, calling out silently? 

What is your burden?

I'll shoulder the load and I'll pick up my cross, 

I'll carry the pain and not count the cost,

Untangle My Heart

Untangle my nerves, Lord.

Untangle my heart. 

I need the healing

Only You can impart.

Break down my barriers, Lord.

Break open my soul.

Heal me so deeply, 

I understand whole. 

Breathe life into me, Lord.

Breathe life and renew

All that's broken inside me 

And make me brand new. 

Show me Your way, Lord.

Show me Your Love, 

Your hope everlasting,

And grace from above. 

Ebb and Flow

 A life of chronic pain

is so very hard to explain. 

You laugh, you cry,

You scream and wonder why

This life you live, 

It just doesn't give. 

It takes and it takes

Until you simply break.

It's up and it's down-

It turns you all around.

You're happy, you're sad.

At times, you're downright mad.

But you live and you learn. 

You grow and you yearn

For the simple things, 

The joy life brings, 

And the love He shows

Through the ebb and flow.

Grief

 Grief.

It pushes you around,

Knocks you to the ground,

And kicks you in the teeth.

Grief. 

It takes you by surprise,

As the tears flood your eyes

Til you can no longer see.

Grief.

It breaks you apart, 

Crushes your heart.

Your life becomes the tragedy.

Grief.

Unable to breathe,

Unable to  speak. 

Unable to hear your own self think.

Grief. 

Unbearable, unfathomable.

Totally unimaginable

Until it's unstoppable.

Grief. 

Bending and breaking you,

Effectively shaking you.

Aching, you beg for a breakthrough...

Grief.

A breath, a sigh.

A tear wiped from your eye.

By a savior who knows..

Grief.

The healing begins.

The feeling returns.

But deep within your heart still yearns.

Grief.

Blame steps in, 

Then shame and anger, too.

Our Savior whispers, I've got you.

Grief.

You breathe deep, 

Knowing it's true..

Even in this, He's got you.

 

The Glory

 I sit in pain

And pray and pray

For God to take

It all away.

But He says no,

It's not time.

That's your plan,

It's not Mine.

You must wait,

And trust My way,

Heed My call

And just obey.

My Love is true

And lightweight, too.

It's always here,

Waiting for you

To turn to Me

So that you see

The Glory

That it's meant to be.
